What happened: Junior Caminero drove a seventh-inning pitch off the left-field foul pole at the Trop. Tampa Bay played with a pennant berth on the line in the potential clincher.

Why it matters: The blast extended a late cushion with a World Series trip at stake. Tampa Bay stood one win from a World Series appearance that would bring a first championship opportunity.

What to watch: Tampa Bay now moves on to a World Series in which either participant would win its first championship.
