What happened: The Baltimore Ravens and Washington Capitals connected in a cross-sport exchange highlighting Burke and Alex Ovechkin. The Capitals followed by emphasizing their regional ties across the greater Washington and Baltimore area.

Why it matters: The two franchises anchor neighboring markets in the Baltimore-Washington corridor, frequently sharing cross-promotional moments across the NFL and NHL calendars. While social exchanges between regional franchises carry no competitive weight, they reinforce brand alignment across shared media markets.

What to watch: Both clubs continue their regular-season schedules as Baltimore prepares for upcoming NFL action and Washington continues NHL play.
