What happened: Arizona ruled out running back Jeremiyah Love for Sunday's game after an ankle issue kept him off the practice field for two consecutive days, per Adam Schefter. Cleared in April following a Combine heart flag, the former Notre Dame standout now faces his first game absence of the 2026 regular season.

Why it matters: Entering Week 6 at 1-4, the Cardinals lose their primary 2026 first-round offensive investment while the front office already weighs roster decisions ahead of the Nov. 10 trade deadline. Arizona's backfield rotation must now absorb the rookie's workload on Sunday.

What to watch: Arizona takes the field Sunday before Love's practice participation is re-evaluated heading into Week 7.
