What happened: Zay Jones is rejoining the Arizona Cardinals on a midseason deal during the 2026 regular season, per @Schultz_Report.

Why it matters: Arizona sits in the No. 14 seed after falling 30-16 on Oct. 25 and adds a veteran target already familiar with the club's operation. His prior two-season tenure in the desert shortens the onboarding timeline for immediate receiver depth.

By the numbers: Jones brings more than 300 career receptions, nearly 3,300 receiving yards, and 18 touchdowns to a 2-5 Cardinals squad on a one-game skid.

What to watch: The Cardinals must complete a corresponding roster move once the signing is officially processed on the league transaction wire.
