Carnell Tate is finding out there's a first time for everything in the NFL 😬 https://t.co/SQ5wWWboQL Via @YahooSports on X

What happened: Tennessee rookie Carnell Tate said his current losing stretch is unlike anything he has experienced. The No. 4 overall pick out of Ohio State described the run as tough and said the group is working to reverse it.

Why it matters: Tennessee is leaning on early production from a first-round rookie while results lag. Tate's 145-yard Week 4 game showed his role in the offense is growing. His response to sustained losing now becomes part of his rookie evaluation.

By the numbers: Drafted No. 4 overall out of Ohio State. Posted 145 yards in Week 4 breakout; sat at 123 yards entering Week 4, second among rookie wideouts. Perfect on six targets in early stretch.

What to watch: Tennessee's upcoming games will show whether Tate maintains his target share and helps end the slide.
