What happened: Field Yates reported New England has shifted lead backfield work back to Rhamondre Stevenson. The turn follows a September rotation that expanded after Stevenson's fumble opened snaps for TreVeyon Henderson.

Why it matters: A settled lead back clarifies carry distribution and short-yardage assignments in New England. It resets Henderson to a complementary role after his September window.

What to watch: The next game will show whether Stevenson keeps goal-line and closing snaps.
