What happened: Kevin O'Connell set the quarterback order Friday after Murray was sidelined by a concussion. Wentz moved into the job after relieving Murray last week, with McCarthy next in line for Sunday's road game.

Why it matters: The decision locks in Minnesota's Week 3 plan on the road and keeps McCarthy in reserve through another shuffle at quarterback. It also extends the rapid rise for Wentz, who was named the backup earlier this month before being pushed into the lineup by Murray's absence.

What to watch: Sunday's inactive list will show whether Minnesota carries only Wentz and McCarthy at quarterback. Murray's status for next week is the next question after this start.
