Daniels is still down. This doesn't seem great. Hope he's OK. #Falcons Via @marcraimondi on X

What happened: Daniels remained down on the field following the tackle as Atlanta trailed 14-7 in the second quarter, per Marc Raimondi. The first-year defender has been part of a rookie linebacker pairing alongside Perkins that drew early backing from the coaching staff.

Why it matters: Any missed time for the defender Jeff Ulbrich recently called a rare rookie would strain an already thin Atlanta linebacker corps. After placing linebacker Yasir Abdullah on injured reserve Oct. 11, the Falcons signed Bralen Trice to the active roster and elevated Drake Jackson on Saturday.

What to watch: Atlanta will issue an official game-status update on Daniels for the remainder of Sunday's contest. Trice and Jackson are positioned for additional snaps at linebacker while Daniels is off the field.
