What happened: Atlanta officially ruled out linebacker Kendal Daniels for the remainder of Sunday's game with a neck injury, per Marc Raimondi. Medical personnel stabilized Daniels' neck and body before loading him onto a cart on a gurney after third-quarter head contact.

Why it matters: Daniels earned a Week 1 starting role at linebacker in September after working through calf tendinitis during July training camp. His exit further tests an Atlanta linebacker unit that placed a defender on injured reserve Oct. 11 and promoted another to the active roster Saturday.

What to watch: Atlanta will provide further updates on Daniels' status following postgame medical evaluations.
