What happened: Rookie linebacker Kendal Daniels remained down on the field after taking a shot to the head while making a tackle for a defensive stop on Sunday, per Marc Raimondi. Stadium medical staff brought out the cart for Daniels during the third quarter after Atlanta cut its deficit to 14-7 before halftime.

Why it matters: Defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich praised Daniels as a rare rookie on Oct. 9, following head coach Kevin Stefanski's training-camp endorsement of the defender's discipline. Another absence tests a linebacker group that signed Bralen Trice to the active roster and elevated Drake Jackson from the practice squad on Saturday.

By the numbers: Atlanta totaled 103 net yards with 10:32 remaining in the third quarter. Daniels previously managed calf tendinitis during training camp in late July, while Abdullah recorded four quarterback hits the week before his Oct. 11 injured-reserve placement.

What to watch: Atlanta will provide an in-game update on Daniels from the stadium medical staff. Trice and Jackson — making his second elevation of the 2026 season — are dressed to handle additional defensive snaps.
