What happened: The 2026 American League finalists include Rafaela in center field. He was also a finalist last season.

Why it matters: Repeat recognition places him among the top defensive center fielders in the league. Elite range in center remains central to run prevention and roster value.

By the numbers: Led all AL outfielders in Outs Above Average.

What to watch: Winners will be announced later in the awards cycle.
