What happened: Yahoo NBA highlighted three big men who could be available to the Boston Celtics at No. 27 in the 2026 NBA Draft. Barring a trade involving the pick, Boston is currently slated to make the 27th overall selection.

Why it matters: The focus on bigs underscores how the Boston Celtics may use the draft to address roster balance rather than chase a best-player-only approach. Late first-round picks also carry trade value, so the selection could become part of a broader offseason move.

What to watch: Watch whether Boston keeps the pick or shops it before draft night. Prospect workouts and updated mocks should clarify which frontcourt players are realistic at No. 27.
