Injury Report for tonight vs. Brooklyn: Devin Carter - Illness - OUT Derrick White - Right Hip Synovitis - PROBABLE Via @celtics on X

What happened: Boston designated guard Derrick White as probable while ruling out two-way guard Devin Carter with an illness for Tuesday's home game against Brooklyn. Carter converted his camp invite into a two-way contract on Oct. 18 and remains unavailable after sitting out Monday's matchup against Chicago with the same illness designation.

Why it matters: Tuesday's contest completes a back-to-back set for the Celtics following Monday's 134-99 victory over the Bulls. Keeping White in the lineup stabilizes Boston's starting backcourt as the club looks to build on its 2-1 start to the 2026-27 regular season.

By the numbers: Boston enters Tuesday at 2-1 after a 35-point win (134-99) over Chicago on Oct. 26. Carter's absence marks his sixth illness designation since Oct. 10 across preseason and regular-season play.

What to watch: Tipoff against Brooklyn is set for 7:30 p.m. ET at TD Garden, when Boston will finalize White's active status.
