What happened: Seattle opened Zach Charbonnet's practice window this week, and Field Yates said a return is forthcoming as the running back room reshuffles. The move comes after first-round rookie Jadarian Price went to injured reserve following a chest injury aggravated in practice, sidelining him for at least four games.

Why it matters: That gives Seattle a path back to Zach Charbonnet just as the club loses one of its newest backfield pieces. Any activation would reset touches and depth in a unit that already had to adjust early in the season.

By the numbers: Price was the No.

What to watch: Seattle's next injury report should show whether Charbonnet is activated to the 53-man roster. The next backfield split becomes a live question with Price unavailable into October.
