What happened: Emanuel Wilson had his best game as a Seahawk in Sunday night's 20-3 win over Kansas City, which moved Seattle to 4-3. Much of his production came in the fourth quarter against a tired Chiefs defense. Zach Charbonnet is listed out and Jadarian Price is on injured reserve, which leaves Wilson atop the backfield.

Why it matters: Coach Mike Macdonald said Monday that Price (chest) will be designated for return from injured reserve during Week 8, per Gregg Bell of Sports Radio 93.3 KJR. Seattle has also been linked to Jonathan Taylor, whom the Colts placed on transaction watch, and one Seahawks-focused analysis has become more open to a trade after the Chiefs game. Left tackle Charles Cross is doubtful with a high ankle sprain, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, which adds to the offensive-line questions around the run game.

By the numbers: Wilson ran 125 times for 496 yards and 3 touchdowns in 17 games with the Packers in 2025 (ESPN). Taylor ran 323 times for 1,585 yards and 18 touchdowns in 17 games with the Colts in 2025 (ESPN).

What to watch: Watch for Price's activation from injured reserve in Week 8 and for any update on Charbonnet's return. Taylor's availability on the trade market is the other item to track.
