What happened: The Los Angeles Chargers enter Sunday seeking their initial victory of the campaign as offensive questions mount. Head coach Jim Harbaugh and offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel face mounting scrutiny following an uneven start. The franchise now turns its attention to an intracity matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.

Why it matters: Quarterback Justin Herbert has struggled to find rhythm in the adjusted scheme after entering the year with postseason expectations. Continued offensive stagnation threatens to derail the campaign and cement draft positioning rather than contention. A positive result remains critical to stabilize the roster and halt downward momentum.

What to watch: The Los Angeles Chargers face the Los Angeles Rams with kickoff set for Sun Nov 1 at 4:05 PM ET. The team aims to establish offensive execution early to challenge for a positive result.
