What happened: Minnesota Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve earned Winsidr's Coach of the Month honors after guiding her squad to a 9-2 record. The team produced elite performances on both ends of the floor throughout the stretch.

Why it matters: The recent run pushed Minnesota to an 18-5 overall record, cementing their status among the top tier of WNBA contenders. This monthly recognition highlights Reeve's ability to maintain high-level execution and extend the team's surge despite heavy roster turnover earlier in the season.

By the numbers: Minnesota stifled opponents with a 97.9 defensive rating during the award-winning month, resulting in a +15.7 net rating. Across the full 2026 campaign, the Lynx are outscoring opponents by nearly 10 points per game, averaging 88.8 points while allowing 79.0.

What to watch: Minnesota aims to continue its strong play against the Connecticut Sun.
