What happened: Kansas City attacked the left edge, where 32.0% of its rushing production has come at 10.2 yards per attempt. Motion from Travis Kelce pulled Nakobe Dean from the box and isolated Quay Walker inside before an 11-yard gain on second-and-10. A T/E stunt and Hezekiah Masses losing contain opened the lane, and later Kwity Paye spilled a puller before a missed tackle and bad angles turned a short stop into a 21-yard run.

Why it matters: Las Vegas entered 3-0 without allowing a 100-yard rusher and dropped its first game with first place in the AFC West at stake. Pro Football Focus graded the Raiders at 46.7 against the run after topping 60.0 in each of the first three weeks. The defeat also extended the form of the NFL rushing leader at 543 yards entering the review.

By the numbers: 22 carries, 177 rush yards, 8.0 yards per carry, 2 touchdowns, 179 total yards; 174 of 543 rushing yards around left edge; 39 missed tackles forced leads running backs, 14 more than Jahmyr Gibbs; season-low five misses Sunday; Las Vegas run-defense grade 46.7.

What to watch: Watch whether Las Vegas tightens edge fits and open-field tackling to avoid repeat explosive runs.
