What happened: The Kansas City Chiefs have officially re-signed cornerback L'Jarius Sneed to a one-year contract worth up to $5 million. Sneed returns to the franchise where he won two Super Bowls following his release by the Tennessee Titans in March.

Why it matters: Sneed provides veteran stability to a secondary that recently traded star Trent McDuffie and lost Jaylen Watson in free agency. His return marks a high-upside reunion for a defense looking to integrate No. 6 overall pick Mansoor Delane.

What to watch: Sneed will join the Chiefs for the remainder of their offseason program as he competes for a starting role in the revamped secondary.
