What happened: The Kansas City Chiefs have re-signed cornerback L'Jarius Sneed to a one-year contract, bringing the veteran back to the franchise where he won two Super Bowls. Sneed returns to Kansas City after being released by the Tennessee Titans in March following two injury-hampered seasons.

Why it matters: The move stabilizes a Kansas City secondary that underwent significant turnover following a 6-11 season in 2025. Sneed's veteran presence will be critical as the team integrates first-round pick Mansoor Delane into defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo's rotation.

What to watch: Sneed is expected to join the team for mandatory minicamp as he competes for a starting role in the revamped cornerback room.
