What happened: Kansas City showed interest in Hill even before injuries to Rashee Rice and Tyquan Thornton. A team source said after Sunday's game the club has stayed in contact with Hill.

Why it matters: The double-hit makes the wide receiver rotation the immediate roster question. Hill is the free-agent option identified to address it.

What to watch: Watch for whether contact advances toward an agreement.
