What happened: Kansas City ruled out defensive lineman Peter Woods, cornerback Mansoor Delane, and defensive lineman Omarr Norman-Lott for Sunday's matchup against the New York Jets. Wide receiver Nikko Remigio is listed as questionable to play.

Why it matters: Kansas City sits at 5-2 and holds the No. 5 seed in the AFC following consecutive losses. Sidelining Delane and Woods removes two 2026 first-round draft picks from the defensive rotation. The 2-6 Jets travel to Kansas City looking to halt a three-game slide.

By the numbers: Delane has recorded 27 tackles and one interception in 2026 through five games. Woods has posted 13 tackles and 0.5 sacks in 2026 through seven games. Norman-Lott totaled five tackles and one sack in five games last season (2025).

What to watch: Remigio's final status and the team's active roster will be confirmed 90 minutes prior to Sunday's kickoff.
