What happened: Cole Knuble dressed for Philadelphia for the first time on Tuesday. The forward earned the recall from Lehigh Valley alongside Alex Bump. The appearance opens his account in the 2026-27 regular season.

Why it matters: Mike Knuble also played for Philadelphia, putting father and son in the same sweater. The move adds a young forward to the Flyers rotation out of their AHL affiliate.

What to watch: Philadelphia continues its regular-season schedule with Knuble available. His ice time and linemates will indicate his early role.
