What happened: Collin Sexton scored his first points of the season on a catch-and-shoot 3-pointer set up by Quentin Grimes. The basket came in his Lakers debut against the LA Clippers.

Why it matters: Sexton missed all five preseason games and Wednesday's opener against Golden State with a right soleus strain before he was cleared for Friday. The Lakers signed him in July to add depth behind their starting backcourt.

What to watch: Watch how many minutes Sexton plays in his first game back from the strain, and whether he holds the backup point guard role.
