What happened: Colton Cowser turned in a big day at the plate, including a drive to dead center. He collected three hits, the third of which knocked in two runs to extend Baltimore's output.

Why it matters: Production like this from Cowser stabilizes the middle of the Orioles' lineup and gives the offense a reliable bat as the season grinds on. Multi-hit, multi-RBI games from a young everyday player are the kind of consistency a contender leans on.

What to watch: Watch whether Cowser can stack another strong game and keep the hot streak going as Baltimore continues its road swing.
