What happened: Tenuta joined the practice squad after a 53-man release on Aug. 31. He participated in the club's 2026 offseason program and training camp.

Why it matters: The 53-man roster shifts one spot toward offensive-line depth and away from cornerback depth as the regular season opens. Fletcher adds a tight end who began his college career on defense.

By the numbers: Tenuta has appeared in seven NFL games, including four in 2025. Jones recorded 157 tackles, 21 passes defensed and two interceptions across 44 games and 29 starts. Fletcher caught 46 passes for 373 yards and two touchdowns in 41 college games.

What to watch: Watch whether Tenuta is active on game day and where Jones lands after waivers.
