What happened: The Washington Commanders ruled out wide receiver Terry McLaurin with a hamstring injury ahead of Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts in London. Quarterback Jayden Daniels, guard Sam Cosmi, linebacker Nick Cross and running back Rachaad White are also inactive for Washington. The Colts ruled out veteran receiver Keenan Allen with a groin issue, joining Alec Pierce on injured reserve.

Why it matters: The Commanders sit at 2-4 this season while the Colts enter the matchup at 1-5. The absence of McLaurin, Daniels and White forces Washington to rely on depth against an Indianapolis team also missing top receiving targets.

By the numbers: Washington averages 18.5 points per game and allows 26.2 this season. Indianapolis is scoring 17.8 points offensively while yielding 27.2 points defensively.

What to watch: Marcus Mariota will direct the Washington offense as the scheduled matchup begins. The Colts elevated wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine from the practice squad to add depth.
