What happened: Como have agreed a deal to sign Mattia Liberali from Catanzaro, with the move built around a €6m fee that triggers the player's release clause. AC Milan are set to receive a €3m fee as part of the arrangement once everything is finalized. The agreement is described as done pending the closing steps.

Why it matters: The move reinforces Como's ambition under Cesc Fabregas' project, which is drawing talent as the club looks ahead to the 2026-27 campaign. Landing Liberali ahead of rival interest points to the growing pull of the setup being assembled at Como.

What to watch: Watch for the official club confirmation and the completion of a medical to formalize the transfer.
