Cooper Flagg (32 PTS, 5 REB, 3 STL in his 2026-27 season debut) has arrived in Indy 🙌 🆚 DAL/IND 📺7pm/et, NBA League Pas Via @NBA on X

What happened: Cooper Flagg checked in at the arena in Indianapolis ahead of Friday's DAL/IND regular-season contest. His opening-night scoring burst came on 10-of-17 shooting from the field and an 11-of-13 mark at the free-throw line.

Why it matters: The sophomore forward hit the ground running after wrapping up offseason training ahead of Year 2 in late September and building through a 19-point tune-up in October. Sustaining a 70 percent true shooting clip while generating perimeter takeaways gives DAL an immediate two-way anchor on the road.

By the numbers: 2026-27 debut: 32 PTS, 5 REB, 3 STL, 10-17 FG, 11-13 FT, 70% TS.

What to watch: DAL/IND tips off at 7 p.m. ET on NBA League Pass.
