What happened: The metric from PFF places the Dallas Cowboys at the bottom of the league in pass defense. The Arizona Cardinals sit right behind them at 120.8.

Why it matters: The secondary's inability to disrupt opposing passing games has defined the team's start to the season. Opposing quarterbacks continue to find success exploiting the coverage.

By the numbers: The Miami Dolphins (110.9), Detroit Lions (110.4) and New Orleans Saints (105.5) round out the group.

What to watch: Dallas will look to tighten its coverage in the coming weeks to limit aerial attacks.
