What happened: Dallas lists left guard Tyler Smith as questionable for Thursday Night Football after his first full practice since preseason thumb surgery. Cobie Durant, DeMarvion Overshown and Drew Shelton are out with hamstring injuries. Jonathan Mingo missed Wednesday with an illness and is questionable, while CeeDee Lamb and Joey Porter Jr. practiced fully and carry no designation.

Why it matters: Smith's availability would restore Dallas' starting left guard on a short week. The outs thin cornerback and linebacker depth, with Durant sidelined as Porter Jr. returns from an ankle issue.

What to watch: Thursday inactives will confirm Smith and Mingo ahead of kickoff.
