Why it matters: Pittsburgh sent back a 2027 fourth-round pick as part of the exchange. Jones enters the final year of his rookie contract after the Steelers declined his fifth-year option.

By the numbers: Jones has appeared in 45 NFL games with 38 starts. He played all 603 of his 2025 snaps at left tackle after working primarily on the right side during his first two seasons.

What to watch: Jones must pass a physical before the agreement can be completed. Dallas can then determine its tackle rotation for the upcoming season.
