What happened: Pau Cubarsi said he would not settle for winning the same titles next season, telling COPE that Barcelona will instead try to "win it all." The quote reflects the defender's public ambition as Barca close the 2025-26 campaign with major domestic stakes still in play.

Why it matters: The remark matters because it reinforces Barcelona's expectation to compete on every front rather than defend a partial haul. It also lands with Barca still leading the league race before Sunday's home Clasico against Real Madrid, extending the theme from Barcelona's push to clinch La Liga before El Clasico.

By the numbers: Barcelona's official schedule lists Real Madrid visiting Spotify Camp Nou on Sunday, May 10, 2026, in Matchday 35. Barca's recent league results listed by the club are wins over Osasuna, Getafe and Celta Vigo, while ESPN's latest available La Liga table snapshot shows Barcelona in first place ahead of Real Madrid.

What to watch: Watch whether Barcelona turn that title talk into a result against Real Madrid on Sunday. Cubarsi's role in the run-in will also stay in focus as Barca try to finish the domestic race on top.
