What happened: Lillard finished as the game-high scorer while adding 6 assists and 3 rebounds to lead Portland to a 124-83 victory. Deni Avdija and Scoot Henderson joined Toumani Camara in pacing the Trail Blazers offense in the season opener.

Why it matters: Wednesday's win marked the first regular-season game back in Portland for Damian Lillard after recovering from an Achilles injury. Immediate offensive contributions from Avdija, Camara, and Henderson ease the playmaking burden on Lillard as the rotation settles in.

What to watch: Portland continues its opening-week slate with Lillard back in the starting backcourt.
