What happened: Daniel Jones tore his right Achilles in Week 14 last December, ending his 2025 season with four games left. He advanced to seven-on-seven work during the final two weeks of the offseason program.

Why it matters: His return anchors a two-year, $88 million commitment made in March. Indianapolis opens the season Sept. 13 after missing the playoffs in 2025.

By the numbers: Jones completed 68% of his passes for 3,101 yards, 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions while going 8-5 in 2025.

What to watch: Veterans report July 28 before the first practice July 29. Full-team, 11-on-11 participation is the next marker to watch.
