What happened: Jayden Daniels called Terry McLaurin a brother and said he is praying for the receiver after the knee injury on Monday night. The game finished Washington Commanders 17, San Francisco 49ers 23.

Why it matters: Daniels said McLaurin stood by him through adverse stretches since he entered the league, underscoring the receiver's locker-room role. An absence would force Washington to redistribute top receiver reps and adjust its passing structure.

What to watch: Watch for Washington's next official update on McLaurin and who lines up with the starters in practice.
