What happened: Jayden Daniels has been ruled out for the Commanders' game against the Colts. Marcus Mariota is set to make another start at quarterback.

Why it matters: The decision settles Washington's quarterback plan for this matchup with Indianapolis. It keeps Mariota with the first-team offense while Daniels remains unavailable for the game.

What to watch: The next question is whether Daniels returns after the Colts matchup or Mariota gets another turn under center.
