What happened: Jayden Daniels linked up with Stefon Diggs to move the Washington Commanders near midfield with 30 seconds remaining on the clock. The completion kept Washington moving downfield in the closing moments of the drive.
Why it matters: Washington entered Sunday at 2-4-1 through seven games, seeking back-to-back wins following a 27-10 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. Diggs, signed in August, has served as a central red-zone threat alongside the second-year quarterback.
By the numbers: Daniels has completed 91 of 145 passes for 976 yards with six touchdowns in 2026 through five games. Diggs has totaled 27 receptions for 252 yards and five touchdowns in 2026 through six games.
What to watch: Washington looks to finish the drive and build on the momentum in the second half of the 2026 regular season.
