What happened: Wide receiver Darius Slayton has been downgraded to out for the upcoming matchup against Pittsburgh. He sustained a knee injury during practice this week, joining Ashton Dulin, Arden Key and Jaylon Carlies among those ruled out.

Why it matters: Slayton's absence delays his integration into the offense just as he was expected to see increased involvement. He signed with Indianapolis in late September and will now be sidelined before establishing a consistent role.

By the numbers: Slayton caught 37 passes for 538 yards and one touchdown in 14 games during the 2025 season.

What to watch: Monitor his practice participation next week as the medical staff evaluates the severity of the injury.
