What happened: The move adds seven-year veteran Darius Slayton after his release from New York. He totaled 296 catches for 4,435 yards and 22 touchdowns across that tenure.

Why it matters: Indianapolis was short at receiver with Alec Pierce sidelined. Slayton offers immediate availability as a veteran outside option.

What to watch: Watch for his game-day status for HOUvsIND and where he lands in the receiver rotation.
