What happened: Yahoo Soccer reported the confirmed starting lineups for the scheduled Group B match, with Davies not in Canada's XI from the off. The match is listed as Qatar at Canada and remains pre-kickoff in the supplied game state.

Why it matters: The lineup call matters because Canada entered the match needing a stronger result after opening with a draw. Qatar, managed by Julen Lopetegui, is in the same Group B pressure point, with a defeat set to leave either side short of control before the final group match.

What to watch: Watch whether Davies is used as a substitute and how Canada adjusts its left side without him starting. The Switzerland-Bosnia result will shape the Group B table around this match.
