What happened: Sharpe recorded his 13th assist of the night, establishing the highest single-game assist total by a center in Brooklyn trailed 117-114 while the contest remained in progress.

Why it matters: Sharpe re-signed with Brooklyn on a two-year, $20 million deal in June to solidify his role in the frontcourt. The interior playmaking surge provides an unexpected offensive dimension for a squad that entered the evening at 2-6 in 2026-27 through 8 games.

What to watch: Brooklyn looks to navigate the closing minutes as Sharpe aims to add to his franchise milestone.
