What happened: De'Aaron Fox converted a pass from teammate Victor Wembanyama for a driving slam during NBA preseason play.

Why it matters: Fox enters the 2026-27 preseason healthy after playing through injury against the Knicks during last season's postseason run. San Antonio (backed publicly by general manager Brian Wright in June) is building around the Fox-Wembanyama pairing following its trip to the NBA Finals.

What to watch: San Antonio continues its preseason schedule ahead of next week's 2026-27 regular-season tipoff.
