Demario Davis: "we're not going to flinch, we're not going to waver" https://t.co/OYl04ZHMmr Via @nyjets on X

What happened: Demario Davis stated the locker room will not "flinch" or "waver" during the opening month of the season. The veteran linebacker delivered the message as New York navigates a three-game losing streak.

Why it matters: Davis returned to the franchise in March on a two-year, $22 million contract to help anchor the defense. The unit must now course-correct after dropping their Week 4 matchup to the Chicago Bears.

By the numbers: New York holds a 1-3 record entering the weekend against the 3-1 Cleveland Browns. Davis has recorded 10 tackles and one sack over the first four weeks of the 2026 campaign.

What to watch: New York hosts Cleveland on Sunday.
