What happened: Yadaly Diaby has been called up to Guinea's men's national team for the September-October international window. The selection arrives shortly after Diaby made his club debut on Sept. 6.

Why it matters: The move adds an international assignment as Diaby settles into a new squad during the MLS run-in. It also gives his recent transfer a second layer of relevance beyond club minutes alone.

What to watch: The next step is whether Diaby appears in Guinea's matchday plans during the September-October window. His club usage around the break will be the immediate roster question to watch.
