What happened: Yadaly Diaby was named to his first MLS Team of the Matchday after his first MLS start, capping a rapid rise five days after transfer to debut. He scored his first goal and added his first assist in a 3-0 win at RSL, an outing that earned club Man of the Match.

Why it matters: The honor signals early return from a late-August attacking addition competing for September minutes. It builds momentum ahead of his September-October Guinea call-up.

What to watch: Back-to-back home matches at BC Place and Canadian Championship semifinals are next. Diaby is also in line to join Guinea for the September-October window.
