What happened: The Los Angeles Dodgers announced a balanced roster of 13 pitchers and 13 position players for the National League Championship Series. Justin Wrobleski joins the bullpen to provide extended length, replacing pinch-runner Hyeseong Kim. Miguel Rojas remains active after recently receiving a cortisone injection for an ailing back.

Why it matters: Adding pitching depth is crucial for Los Angeles as they face a Milwaukee Brewers team that won 104 games this season. Swapping Kim for Wrobleski sacrifices late-game speed on the basepaths in favor of extra relief innings. Retaining Rojas ensures infield stability, provided his back holds up during the series.

By the numbers: Los Angeles went 102-61 this season but dropped three of five matchups against Milwaukee. Wrobleski missed time with forearm inflammation in August before returning to the active roster.

What to watch: The Dodgers and Brewers are scheduled to begin their championship series matchup.
