What happened: Right-hander Will Klein had a bone chip removed and a spur cleaned up Thursday afternoon on the same day Rushing had his elbow repaired.

Why it matters: The extended absence removes the same Dalton Rushing who drove in three runs for the Dodgers on July 23 from the club's catching options for the start of 2027.

What to watch: Klein is slated to be ready when Los Angeles reports for Spring Training.
