What happened: The Los Angeles Dodgers are back on the postseason schedule, with the game still awaiting first pitch and the scoreboard at 0-0. Their World Series path remains open as MLB's playoff bracket keeps moving.

Why it matters: For the Dodgers, who clinched the NL West, each postseason date now carries direct title stakes. Even before the first run scores, the next scheduled game matters because it is another chance to keep that chase moving.

What to watch: Watch for first pitch and the first move off 0-0 once the scheduled game begins.
