Roster Moves | We have signed edge Rodney McGraw to the active roster off the practice squad and signed kicker Zane Gonz Via @MiamiDolphins on X

What happened: Rodney McGraw moves from the practice squad to the active roster as an edge rusher. Zane Gonzalez joins the practice squad as a kicker, with Riley Patterson released and cornerback Storm Duck and edge Andre Jones Jr. waived.

Why it matters: The kicker change resets Miami's special-teams depth during the 2026 regular season. Keeping Gonzalez on the practice squad preserves a game-day elevation option while the active-roster edge and cornerback spots turn over.

By the numbers: Riley Patterson made 27 of 29 field goals in 17 games in 2025 with the Dolphins. Andre Jones Jr. made 5 tackles in 3 games in 2025 with the Bills, and Storm Duck made 2 tackles in 2 games in 2025 with the Dolphins.

What to watch: The next game-day roster will show whether McGraw dresses and whether Gonzalez is elevated.
